Carol's Music Ministry
First CD Release Concert
Carol performing at her CD Release Concert on February 26, 2000!!!
These are a few of the pictures from my CD Release Concert, held on February 26, 2000, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, in DeSoto, Missouri.
The attendance was more than I could have imagined and the Spirit of God was EVERYWHERE...even on the overflowing parking lot!
So many wonderful people, all so very happy for me and God's Ministry!
What a wonderful feeling to see the church FULL of friends and family!
It was so AWESOME to see that so many cared enough about this ministry to come to my Release Concert! There were certainly many other things everyone could have been doing on a Saturday evening! Thank you, God, for allowing all of these wonderful people to care enough about you and me to come to this concert! I will NEVER forget the glory of the evening! |

Carol enjoys sharing not only the music God has provided, but her testimony!
Being a cancer survivor is one of many dark areas in her life that God has conquered. Her Release Concert was a great opportunity to share her heart with many! Praise God! |
|
Carol and Danny Ferrell share a song, "Somebody's Prayin'." Carol and Danny will do this song on her next CD.
Carol's next project "Look Out I'm About To Shout", will begin in May! |
|
As Carol sings, Bro. Gene Spurgeon (Evangelist and Artist) does an original oil painting.
Bro. Gene is pastor of First Southern Baptist Church, in Cahokia, Illinois. |
|
Carol and daughter, Charlene Christyn How.
Charlene helps Mom with hair before concert starts! She was very encouraging, too! |
|
Top: Julie Ferrell and Roseanne Thompson. Bottom: Diane Rose
These wonderful friends volunteered their time to sell my recordings.
THEY HAD FUN....CAN YOU TELL??
Cassie Overturf, one of Emmanuel's youth, looks on.
These ladies are always willing to help at my "singings" and I am so thankful for them and their friendship.
Another sweet friend in Christ is Debbie Davis! I don't have a picture of her yet, but I'll get one! She and her husband, John, have been supportive fans for many years and she always makes herself available to take care of the guest book! I love recording everyone's name who attends a "singing".

Carol & dear friend, Debbie Davis
I am so very thankful for Debbie and her husband, John! They are at nearly every gospel sing that I participate in! Debbie helped with the guest book at my release concert and has continued to sell tapes for me and set up the table for my products! I cannot praise God enough for their friendship! |
|
Kathy Atkins, Carol and Louise Hunsaker
Kathy is a recording artist and friend! We are able to jointly share our music and testimony at several events. Kathy introduced me to my producers and through her God opened the door that I might be able to record this project! THANK YOU KATHY....THANK YOU GOD!
Louise is co-producer, with husband Steve. They own New Sound Studios in Cahokia, Illinois, where both Kathy and I recorded our projects. Steve and Louise are both ordained ministers and powerful prayer warriors! THANK YOU, Kathy and Steve, for this wonderful opportunity! |
|
Carol and Rick Ferrell
Rick and Julie Ferrell have supported this ministry from the beginning of the recording project, both financially and spiritually! I am so thankful God brought this family into my family's life! Rick is also our Deacon! His son, Danny, sings with me and will be featured on my next project! THANK YOU FERRELL FAMILY, FOR YOUR FAITH IN ME AND THIS MINISTRY! |
|
Carol and Tom How
MY GREATEST FAN!!
What can I say??? This wonderful husband has such faith and love! I am eternally grateful for him!
My favorite statement from him when someone asked him what his role in all this was? His reply, "I just don't hold her back!" That's a pretty important role! |
|
Gary and Donnie Dorlac
Two of my three brothers! Thank you, guys, for your support and love! |
|
Wendi Davis and Sheila Wilson
Thank you ladies for helping serve the beautiful cakes! |
|
Top: Carol and Polly Vallee Bottom: Carol and Valorie Hinchey
Two more special ladies who helped at the reception!
Everyone who helped in any way....THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!
I love you all! |
|
Carol and sister-in-law, M'Linda Johnston
My first experience in autographing anything! Fun, but truly humbling! Almost as humbling as accepting a Love Offering! Accepting Love Offerings is something I've never done and it will take some getting used to.....I do have to get this project paid off, though, and the next one started! |
