Carol's Music Ministry
Carol's Testimony
The desire of my heart is that God will now use the music and me as a light of His Spirit...reaching out and encouraging many!
The desire of my heart is that God will now use the music and me as a light of His Spirit...reaching out and encouraging many!
Praise God that He blessed me with parents who believed their children should know God! My mother made sure my brothers and I attended Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Although we were raised in a "split" religous family (my father was Catholic and mother Baptist), it never seemed to be a "problem."

When I was 12 years old, Jesus became very real to me and I asked him into my heart. I was baptized at Fairview Christian Church, just south of Festus, Missouri.

During my teen years and early twenties, I did some real searching. Attending church did not seem to be a matter of great importance, for I knew who Jesus was, believed in God and life went on! And, on! And, on!

Through many years of much confusion about what life had to offer me, at age 36, I finally realized that even though I believed and truly loved Jesus with my heart, I had not been LIVING for HIM!

My life turned around and I began a life of regular church attendance, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, singing for the Lord and living my life the best that I could for Him!

You see, I had spent my life loving and believing....just not doing anything to truly show others that God/Jesus/Holy Spirit could make a meaningful difference in the way I lived! Not being the witness for God that I could have been! Once I realized with all of my heart the true and great sacrifice that our Heavenly Father had made for me, my life took on new meaning! My life took on a new character and one that I wanted to use for God's glory!

Those new feelings did not make my life easier by any means! Instead, many new issues developed to give me the opportunity to share my faith with many; loss of a 20-year job; two weeks later the loss of my father; breast cancer at age 48!

Guess what???? God is AWESOME and He gave me strengths that I never believed I had! He developed in me such a desire to work for Him and share the comfort of His love with others! He gave me a new compassion for life and music....a new compassion for others! He placed me into a jail ministry that humbled me more than I could have ever imagined! My list of wonderful things that God has done for me is never-ending and my life is far from over!

I do not know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds my tomorrow! With that knowledge, I can face all tomorrows with the truth! God is in control and He will NOT give me more than I can handle! He already knows what valley I will face!

I praise God everyday for His strength and love!

If you do not know that peace, my prayer right now is for you to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.....then you will find that peace!

God Bless you, my friend!

In Christ,
Carol
