| 07/09/10 - Carol's brother Gary (Jessie's Daddy) On 06/31/10 - My brother, Gary, was taken to the ER and believed to be having a heart attack. His heart rate was 261 and his blood pressure was extremely high. Praise God, testing proved that he had not had a heart attack but there is a malfunction between the message sent from the brain to the heart. Gary will undergo a procedure on 07/13/10 to, hopefully, correct this problem. We are praying for his safety and that he will not experience this health issue again before the treatment. We covet your prayers for my brother. Thank you! |

| 07/09/10 - Wayne Brown - Dear Friend & Brother in Christ! Bro Wayne has lost the use of his right hand, and some other muscular functions have been changing. His doctor has told Wayne & his wife Sue that he is reasonably sure he has Lou Gehrig's disease. Wayne will be undergoing further tests. Please keep this wonderful couple in your prayers. This disease is incurable and is truly a wicked illness to the body. Thank you for your prayers for Wayne & Sue. |

My niece Jessica -UPDATE: 07/09/10 HALLELUJAH! Jessie has been home now for almost two weeks and is doing great! She is able to eat without pain for the first time in months! She still has some nausea but doctor says that's normal for a while as the body adjusts to the gall bladder not being there. We are so very thankful for God's Sweet Blessing and for the prayers of all of you! Thank you and God Bless each of you who lifted Jessie up while she was so far away from home and going through this ordeal! THANK YOU! ...... Prayer Request dated: 06/21/10 - Jessica is 17 and in Utah vacationing. She has previous health issues with her stomach and while in Utah has become very ill. Her mother had to fly out to be with her and they are meeting with a surgeon today. Possibly need to have the gall bladder removed. Uncertain, though, of complete problem. Jessie is in much pain and this is a very difficult time for her parents as well. Please be in prayers for the doctor's to have the wisdom they need and for Jessie to have a closure to this health issue. Praise be to God! UPDATE: 6/22/10 - Doctor's are taking out Jessie's gall bladder tomorrow. We are praying this is the TRUE problem....also, praying for the airlines to be sympathetic financially as they have to reschedule flights back home. We covet your prayers over Jessie, her Mom and Dad & all the doctors. Thank you for your prayers over these past two weeks for this young lady and family! |

07/09/10 UPDATE on Carol's MommaHALLELUJAH !!! UPDATE 07/09/10 - My Momma has graduated to a cane and is getting around very well. We are still experiencing such great fear of falling again and hurting ...... BUT, we Praise God for allowing our mother to be able to function and get around ....what a blessing and answer to prayer! Thank you to everyone who lifted Miss Mamie up in prayer over these many weeks! Those prayers were felt.......GOD IS SOOOO GOOD.......Prayer Request dated 04/10/10 - On April 8th, Carol's mother has an accidental fall. Please be in prayer for the healing of this pelvic bone and the easing of pain! Along with the great pain, is the emotional trauma for an 81 year old with a very independent lifestyle. Carol has cancelled engagements for April and May in order to stay with and help her Mom as much as possible. Please be in prayer for Miss Mamie!!! Thank you! UPDATE: 05/07/10 - As we enter the 5th week of recovery, Mom finally had a fairly decent "getting out of bed" moment!!! Hallelujah!!! The pain just sort of travels through her lower stomach and rear area.....a sign of healing (I guess)....anyway, we are seeing progress! Please continue to lift Miss Mamie in your prayers! UPDATE: 06/21/10 - HALLELUJAH!! My Momma has graduated to a cane these days! We are so very thankful for her healing and look forward to a complete recovery! Thanks to all of you Prayer Warriors who have kept her close to your hearts and in your prayers! |

| Kyle Ayers - age 14 - Our youth pastor's son. Please be in prayer for young Kyle as he battles systic-fibrosis. He is such a wonderful young man. He and his family continually go through the battles of this illness. Please pray for their Strength in the Lord and for the doctors to have Wisdom in the Lord. UPDATE: 02/25/10 - Please continue to keep this young family in your prayers as they serve the Lord and battle this illness in their young son. UPDATE: 05/07/10 - Please continue to lift Kyle....he has spent another several days in the hospital. Please pray for the family as well. UPDATE: 07/09/10 - Kyle seems to be doing well at this time. Please continue to lift him in prayer, though, as we never know when the next episode may occur. Blessings to all! |

Susan Gathemia & her sons, Mike and Jimmy -My dear Sister in Christ and her family are from and live in Kenya. With everything going on in that country at this time, we must pray for their safety and the safety of all those in Kenya. This is truly a battle between the forces of God and the evil forces. Please, watch the news about Kenya and pray for my friends/loved ones in that far-away land. Praise God for the technology of email and cell phones, as Susan and I have been able to communicate by both these past few days. Her family loves the Lord so much and they covet your prayers! 02/25/10 - Have not heard from my dear sister in Christ.....please keep their family in prayer. UPDATE: 07/09/10 - Please continue to life these loved ones up in prayer. We have not heard from them in many many months. Thank you! |
